HIGHLIGHTS

  • Complete Tiger front-end: scanner and parser written with Flex and Bison, AST construction, bindings resolution, unique identifiers, escape analysis.
  • Static type-checking with contextualised error messages, and syntactic-sugar removal on the AST before later passes.
  • LLVM IR codegen: lowering from the AST to an intermediate representation ready for LLVM optimisation passes and code generation.
